Are you ready to stand elbow to elbow with some of the greatest legends in golf? Find out by participating in our 18-hole SCRAMBLE. Teams (comprised of 2 women) will compete for a chance to advance to the Walgreens Charity Championship Pro-Am at The Seagate Country Club on Friday, October 28, 2016.
The winning low gross team and winning low net team on September 28th will win the two Pro-Am teams up for grabs. Winning team members will be paired up with a female graduate from The First Tee and an LPGA Legends Tour professional for the Walgreens Charity Championship Pro-Am on October 28th for the experience of a lifetime!

October 27-30, 2016: The Legends of the LPGA return to The Seagate Country Club for the third consecutive year to contest the Walgreens Charity Championship. Sweden’s Liselotte Neumann defends her 2015 win as she tees it up with 50 of her peers to vie for a $250,000 purse. Format: 2-Woman Scramble (Gross and Net). Active USGA Handicap Index required (up to 40.4) for net competition.
Entry Fee: $100/person. May enter as a Team of 2 female players ($200 team entry) or as a single player ($100 entry). NOTE: Single player entries received will have 1 player added by the Tournament Committee to create a 2-woman team.
Field Size: Limited to fifty (50) 2-woman teams (100 players total); first come, first served. Entry Deadline – 5:00pm EST, September 14, 2016.
Practice Round: Optional; may be played on Tues., Sept. 27. Green Fee: $25.00/person (plus tax) — (includes cart, range balls). To reserve a practice round starting time, please call the Seagate golf shop (561-498-8298) up to 3 days in advance.
Starting Times: 1:00pm Shotgun Start. LPGA Tour champion Michelle McGann will kick things off with a few inspiring words just before the shotgun start. Driving range available at 11:00am. Yardage – Red Tees (5,309 yards).
Bag Drop / Player Check-In: 11:00a.m.-12:30p.m. Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the shotgun start.
Lodging: A special group rate of $149 (plus tax) – Courtyard Accommodations and $199 (plus tax) – Deluxe Room Accomodations is being offered at The Seagate Hotel & Spa in conjunction with this event. Closest to the Hole Contests: one contest on each nine.
Hosted Cocktail & Awards Reception: Immediately following play in the ballroom (upper level of clubhouse). LPGA Legend Jane Blalock will be in attendance and announce the winners.
Tickets: Participants receive 8 daily grounds passes to the Walgreens Charity Championship (Oct. 29-30) – $120 value.
Prizes — 1 winning Gross team and 1 winning Net team will be awarded prizes. The 2-woman team with the lowest gross scramble score and the team with the lowest net scramble score will receive a playing spot in the Walgreens Charity Championship Pro-Am on Fri., Oct. 28, 2016 Winning team members will be paired up with a female graduate from The First Tee and a Legends Tour professional in the Walgreens Charity Championship Pro-Am on Thursday, October 27.
Ties –No playoffs; all ties will be decided by a match of cards in accordance with Appendix I, Part B, Section 10 (Stroke Play Ties – Option (c)) found on pages 161-162 in the 2016 USGA Rules of Golf.
